The 2009 Charlie Jones Scholarship has been awarded to... Paul Cassidy

After much deliberation, the panel has awarded the first Charlie Jones Scholarship of 2009 to Paul Cassidy. The competition was extremely close, but Paul impressed the Panel with his drive and desire to suceed. Paul had been working hard over the last year gaining work experience in the industry, a demonstration of his proactivity that didn't fall short of the Panel's attention.

We will be catching up with Paul once he is settled in Manchester to find out more about our latest scholar. Watch this space!

Thank you to everyone who applied for the scholarship. For all those who applied and also those who made it to the interview stage, it is worth noting that two of our scholars won the award on their second attempt, so all is not lost. Lets hope to hear from you again in the future.
