SSR are the UK's premiere audio training college. Based in Manchester, they have been in the education sector for many years providing specialist training programmes to both the studio and audio related sectors.
The complex has recently been rebuilt and hosts a wide range of studio and training classrooms all fitted out with state of the art equipment and facilities.

Wigwam chose SSR to provide the scholarship training because of their experience and ability to change and adapt to new concepts and requirements.
The college not only features state of the art facilities but staff that have had many years of hands on experience in all aspects of audio engineering, allowing students to gain valuable training though lectures and practical demonstrations.
The Live Sound training course has seen many of the Industries leading suppliers and manufacturers come together to offer their sponsorship, providing equipment, guest lectures and practical demonstrations from some of the worlds leading engineers and designers. This has led to the course being one of the leading providers of Industry lead education.
The new Live Sound training programme is one of several new courses that we will host together in the coming years.
A new training facility for the course has been provided by the college and has been fitted out with the latest technology and equipment in the live sound field. During the past months, some of the sponsor companies have used the facilities at SSR for their own training and demonstration days, bringing the industry itself into the college and allowing prospective employers to see the next generation of employees.
